Application:\u00a0<\/strong>Chitinase decomposes chitin into oligomers of chitobiose and N-acetylglucosamine by endohydrolysis to recover them. It is also used to control phytopathogenic fungi. Chitinases are glycoproteins which are mostly produced extracellularly by plants, insects and microorganisms (f.e. molds).<\/p>\n
