Application: Alcohol oxidase is a enzyme that converts primary alcohols with molecular oxygen as an electron acceptor to catalyze the reaction to the corresponding aldehyde and hydrogene peroxide. It is, among other things, used in the determination of primary alcohols or in Biosensors.
